Poppyland Community Radio (PCR)
Overview of the Project
PCR needed a website to with the launch of their radio station. There were a number of key objectives from PCR.
1. To have a website where they could do updates themselves without the need for web-admin.
2. Allow people to listen to their radio station via their website.
3. Provide a mobile application for us on Apple and Android devices.
Key Features used in project
Below are the key features that were used to complete this project.
Booking Management
Allowing bookings to be taken via your website, to ensure you don't get double bookings. Also allows for taking payments for bookings as well and automated emails to remind people about their bookings.
Dynamic content
Content can be added, updated & removed quickly and easily without having to make changes directly on pages
Event Management
Promote events, sell electronic tickets & collect payments.
Google Analytics
Norfolk IT Solutions leverages Google Analytics to identify which pages on your site attract traffic and which external sites drive visitors to you. It also enables us to monitor your site's bounce rate and timeline.
Google Search Console
Once your site is ready we submit it to Google to increase your website's reach. We then use Google Search Console to track performance and see keyword rankings.
Microsoft 365 Configuration and Deployment
Our Office 365 service provides tailored setup and configuration for your organization, including user access management, mailbox migration, and application installation. We offer onsite training for Office 365 tools like Word, Excel, and Teams, along with setup and document migration for Microsoft Teams. Additionally, we enhance security by implementing self-serve password reset and two-factor authentication.
Mobile App
Add content to website, chat with customers and see stats on visitor numbers.

What did we do?
Below are some key highlights from this project.
The Result
A new new modern website using WiX was created that can be accessed across across all platforms including mobile.
Key pages have been made dynamic so PCR can update these themselves; News, Shop, Shows and Schedule Pages.
Streamlined postings by allowing Wix Blogs to be shared to social media platforms without copy and pasting.
Mobile Application (Apple and Android), allowing listeners to download and listen to PCR. PCR can also updated a number of core areas of content without the need to release a new version of the application.
